Added the some of the water. I wasn't happy with my placement of the forground rocks, so I moved them over to the right side a bit more. Garry

Tidal River update

Slapped a rough line as to where the background mountains go. This will be my guide so I can place things and get a feel for the painting. As you can see, I'm very slap happy with the paint at the moment. and a Close-up of the Rocks on the Mountain. Garry - GKP Art Studio

Tidal River - Wilson Prom oil painting

This work in progress painting, will be of Tidal River - Wilson Prom, in Australia. The first thing you will notice is that I havn't drawn anything on the canvas, but instead painted the sky directly on to it. I have an idea in my mind where I'm going to place things, so a comprehensive drawing at this stage is uneccessary. Garry Medium Used: Genesis Heat Set Artist oil. Size: 45.7x91.4cm (18x36inch) on stretched canvas.
